Taxidermy Pricelist

The skinning and preparation of your trophies for mounting is done by NBSafaris in the field and your fee takes you right up to the Taxidermist. Whether you would like your trophies mounted in South Africa and then shipped or shipped and then mounted in your country you would need to go thru a licensed Taxidermist.

- Includes collection from Hunting area
- Trophies will be ready for shipping in 8 months from payment of Deposit
- Shipping can be arranged, owner of trophies carry all risks
- Prices are subject to change

- Prices are subject to Value Added Tax as prescribed by law:
  All skins are subject to Value Added Tax @ 14%
  All Mounts are Subject to Value Added Tax as follows: (70% @ 0%VAT) and (30% at 14%VAT)

African Expressions Taxidermy Work Agreement

General:

1. In order to provide you with best quality taxidermy work.  African Expressions will begin processing trophies immediately after receipt of the raw material.  To avoid being charged for this necessary treatment, please notify us immediately should you not wish us to go ahead with the work.

2. We require a non-refundable deposit of 50% on all orders.  Work will only commence after the deposit has been received.  Payment of the deposit will serve as confirmation of your instructions to us and that you have accepted this Work Agreement.  All taxidermy instructions must be issued in writing.

3. Please note that all goods remain the property of African Expressions until full payment is received.  The client accepts liability for all costs and collecting charges on an attorney and own client basis in the event of the account being handed over to an attorney’s firm for collection.

4. African Expressions reserves the right to sell any unclaimed trophies 3 months after the final invoice date, after written notification is  sent to the address provided on the order.  The posting of a registered letter to the said address shall constitute sufficient notice and no actual receipt of such notice shall be necessary to enable African Expressions to sell the trophies to defray expenses.

5. African Expressions accepts no liability whatsoever for any loss or damage actual or consequential due to fire, theft, forced entry or negligence by our staff or third parties or for any damage due to bacterial contamination or any other causes.

6. The law governing this Work Agreement shall be that of the Republic of South Africa.

7. By delivering trophies to African Expression, the client warrants that the animals on his order have been legally hunted.

8. African Expressions takes great care to ensure that trophies leaving our studio are of the highest quality.  Should any material defect be found in a product (not caused by any act or omission on the part of the customer, or agent) the affected product will be replaced or repaired at the company’s discretion.

 

Exporting Trophies:

1. Trophies will only be exported once full payment is received.

2. Packaging, crating fees and freight costs are not included in our price list taxidermy fees.  These charges will be levied by our shipping agent but we can provide you with an estimate quote beforehand.

3. Please note that we take no responsibility whatsoever for damage to curios due to their fragile nature.  A fumigation charge will be levied if the curios are infested by insects.

4. The South African Government now chares to issue export permits.  This (Cites permit, Veterinary Permit and General Permit) charge will be levied over and above the packaging and documentation fee.

Please note that payment of the deposit will be deemed proof of your acceptance of this agreement
